Williams wins second remediation contract at the site of the new BBC studios Cardiff Bay.

The contract involved processing 19000m3 of material which was contaminated with wood ,plastics,and general building material waste.Removing the processed inert material to an on site tip and forming landscaping bunds,crushing and screening to produce 6f5 material which was to be used to construct a pilling platform and haul road for future works.The works were completed within 8 weeks and finished 4 weeks ahead of programme.Williams used a variety of equipment to complete the works including screens,crushers,excavators fitted with hammers,dumptrucks and specialist compaction equipment.
