Williams delivers first phase of BBC Drama Village ahead of schedule.
Williams was awarded the £300,000 earthworks and remediation package from main contractor, Dean and Dyball Construction.

The contract was subject to very tight time constraints in order for phase 2 works to commence on time.

Williams deployed a fleet of earthmoving machinery which included excavators, dumptrucks, bulldozers, loading shovels and crushing and screening equipment from it’s in-house plant division.

The contract was completed within 10 weeks, and phase 1, which is the site of the BBC Drama Village area, was handed over 2 weeks earlier than scheduled.

Williams was proud to be associated with delivering the new site which will house the BBC Studios. The studios will be the equivalent size of three football pitches, providing a permanent home to three flagship BBC dramas- Casualty, Pobl y Cwm and Doctor Who.
